Assisted Living
The Mountain Glen Retirement Community is owned and managed by people who care. We are certain that you will find that we offer a refreshing and different kind of retirement community. A place to feel secure and enjoy life.
What is Assisted Living?
More specifically, what type of resident is appropriate for personal care?
Residents living in our Assisted Living wing enjoy the same services as Independent residents.
Assisted Living Rooms
Mountain Glen Retirement Center pioneered the concept of assisted living in the Northwest. In addition to the basic services provided, the following additional services are available for residents in our assisted living wing;
- Additional housekeeping services
- Special social activities program
- 24-hour licensed professional nursing assistance
- Supervision of medications
- Assistance with bathing
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Personal laundry service
- No pints, no levels to worry about
- All included at NO additional cost
A licensed nurse supervises the individualized care of each resident and maintains a close dialogue with families and physicians. Our major emphasis is on health promotion through the proper use of medications, good nutrition, physical fitness and injury control. We know that we can prevent many problems through early detection.
Apartments are private and rented unfurnished, allowing the residents personal possessions to surround them. Assisted Living rooms offer more space, air conditioning, and larger baths with sit-down showers with towels and linens provided.
Recreation and activity programs are scheduled on a regular basis.
Mountain Glen is a wonderful place for seniors to live comfortably and securely. Please call us to arrange for a tour of our facilities, we'll be happy to show you around.
For seniors unable to continue in an independent setting, our Assisted Living Wing answers a need for quality, cost-effective alternative care in a residential atmosphere.
Assisted Living is staffed 24 hours a day by licensed nurses and provides assistance with medication, hygiene, mobility, bathing, dressing, dietary supervision, housekeeping and other individual needs. Linen changes are also included.
